Some new paintings for the weekly sketch group. The show I am currently working is ending this week, so I've had tones of time to paint.. here are a couple images I came up with..

A couple new images, both pencil and ink drawings for the Arc sketch club.

Red Ridding Hood

This colour sketch was done for the Arc sketch club, but here it is posted on my art blog. The topic was book character and I went with a classic fairy tale, with a slight twist.

dwarf painting

I finished painting what was a loose colour sketch for the arc sketch club. I painted out the pencil outlines, defined the background a little, and added some more detail all around. I also added in some lighting effects to make the scene more interesting and fun to work on.

arc sketches update

Here are some new sketches from the new sketch club. The topics where magical creatures, big vs. small and surfing. I spent the most time painting the monster vs. dwarf image because I thought the drawing turned out well.

Fresh colour sketches

Two more drawings from the weekly sketch club at Arc. These topics where pirates and dragons. The pirate image was inked, but the girl and dragons is just a pencil sketch with some quick and loose brushwork.
